Day 1 –Memphis
“It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!” We’ll rejoice
in the holiday spirit as we travel the country roads and lanes on our way to
The Greenbrier Hotel. Our first stop will be in Memphis, Tennessee
for the night.
(D) Overnight: Memphis, Tennessee
Day 2 – Nashville/ Gaylord Hotel/
‘ICE” Sculptures/ Louise Mandrell Dinner Show
Known as “Music City USA,” we head to Nashville.We will overnight at the fabulous Gaylord
Hotel, which has been turned into a land of enchantment with sparkling lights
of giant blue spruces and 3,000 bright red poinsettias. Bundle up and see the
amazing "ICE” sculptures, sure to amaze! Dinner and Louise Mandrell’s “Joy to
the World” Christmas Show is a special treat included at the hotel.

Days 3, 4 & 5 –
The Greenbrier Hotel/ Christmas Concert/ Bunker Tour
This morning we head towards White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia
filled with great anticipation for our visit to the five-diamond Greenbrier Hotel. Surround yourself in
the “Currier & Ives” type setting where you will see thousands of sparkling
lights, miles of garland, endless poinsettias and warm crackling fireplaces, sure
to warm the holiday spirit! During our stay at the Greenbrier we will attend a Christmas concert and also tour the Greenbrier’s property and grounds to learn why the Greenbrier’s
reputation for world-renowned cuisine, luxurious accommodations, rich heritage
and hospitality are unsurpassed. You’ll want to get dressed up for the luxurious,
one-of-a-kind dinners while at the Greenbrier. Enjoy a true Greenbrier
tradition, Afternoon High Tea and
concert daily in the upper lobby. One day, we’ll head underground for a bunker tour, exploring the 112,000
square foot secret hideaway beneath the West Virginia Wing. It served as a
possible “safe house” for congressmen during the Cold War-Era from 1958 until
1992. Designed to accommodate over 1,100 people, it was maintained in a constant
state of readiness. We’ll also visit the Presidents
Cottage Museum, which has been the host to 26 U.S. Presidents. There are
memorable moments from their stays on display in the cottage which overlooks
the Springhouse. These archives contain documents dating back to The
Greenbrier’s early history. Enjoy some leisure time where you can indulge in
Christmas shopping at the more than 30 shops located around the property or
attend movies in the evening.

Day 5 (B,D) Overnights: White Sulphur Springs,
West Virginia
Day 6 – Galt
House/ Dinner Show
Leaving West Virginia we
take the Christmas Holiday Spirit with us and move on toward Louisville, Kentucky.
Here we will overnight at the Galt House
and enjoy a holiday dinner and show nearby. The Galt House is made up of two
25-story buildings that are connected by a 3rd floor conservatory,
modeled after the Crystal Palace in London.

Day 7 – Beale Street
This morning we make our way to Memphis. Dinner will be at a restaurant on
famous Beale Street,
home of the Blues.

Day 8 – Homeward

As we return home, we will cherish the memories of our
fabulous experience at The Greenbrier.
