Itinerary
Departing Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex
Day 1 - Lake Charles, Louisiana
Two of the most luxurious hotel resorts will be our hosts as we travel the Mississippi Coast. The first one is the L'Auberge du Lac Casino Resort, rising 26 stories over Lake Charles. With several restaurants, you're sure to find on that suits your taste and budget. Even if you're not interested in gaming, you'll want to see the glass-domed, vaulted ceiling of the riverboat casino, one of the largest of its kind in the world.

Days 2 & 3 - Shrimp Boat/ Ohr-O'Keefe Museum of Art/ Beauvoir
Amid plush amenities and elegant furnishings, the well-known four diamond resort of Beau Rivage is our home for two nights. There's always plenty to do there - a 24-hour casino, 12 restaurants, 5 lounges, a shopping esplanade, a day spa and a garden atrium. We'll enjoy a Biloxi Shrimping trip to see what is actually caught on a shrimping expedition. Across the street from the dock is the new Hurricane Katrina Memorial built by TV show, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Other included attractions will be the Ohr-O-Keefe Museum of Art to view the creations of George Ohr, their very own Mad Potter and Beauvoir, the stunning retirement home of Jefferson Davis.

Day 4 - Gator Country Wildlife Adventure Park
We leave Mississippi, cross Louisiana and make our way to Texas. Near Beaumont, we'll visit the Gator Country Wildlife and Adventure Park for a historical and scenic look at the wildlife and nature of southeast Texas. Besides the 130 alligators, crocodiles and turtles, be on the lookout for Big Al, the alligator that is over 13 feet long and weighs almost 1000 pounds!

Day 5 - Homeward Bound!
After a final look around Beaumont, we turn our sights toward home to make ready for the upcoming holidays.
